Tab crash via redeclared JavaScript variables

Use-after-poison in Firefox before 85, Firefox ESR before 78.7, and Thunderbird before 78.7 allows attackers to crash a tab. The JavaScript engine garbage collector accesses poisoned memory after a let or const variable is redeclared and the page is repeatedly reloaded or string splitting occurs. Triggering requires user interaction in a browser-like scripting context; ordinary Thunderbird mail reading disables scripting, bounding the demonstrated result to a content-process crash.
