Password disclosure via unredacted diagnostic files
Published Apr 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Sensitive-data exposure in diagnostic files in Devolutions Server before 2020.3 allows attackers to obtain passwords and other secrets. Diagnostic-file creation includes passwords and other sensitive values in troubleshooting output instead of excluding or redacting them. Exposure requires a diagnostic file to be generated and then made accessible to another party; the vendor does not identify a direct network retrieval path.
