Cross-user vault access through server-selected identity

Broken authentication in Devolutions Server 2020.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access another user's stored passwords. When automatic domain-user creation is enabled, the domain sign-in flow binds the session to another user selected by server-side configuration rather than the intended identity. A Windows domain account is required, attackers cannot choose the impersonated user, and exposure is limited to data available to that assigned account, including private-vault entries.
