Script execution via unsanitized webview form fields
Published Apr 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager before 2020.2.12 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts via webviews. Some form fields accept malicious JavaScript without neutralization before an application webview renders their contents. Remote authenticated users must supply the field content, and user interaction with the rendered view triggers script execution in the webview context.
