Credential access via unenforced Password List permissions
Published Apr 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Broken access control in Devolutions Server 2020.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access restricted Password List credentials. When Remote Desktop Manager uses credentials stored in a Password List entry, the server fails to enforce that entry's access-control rules. A low-privileged account can therefore read or use credentials outside its assigned permissions, without affecting service availability.
