CVE-2021-23858Network attack vector

Credential-hash disclosure via unprotected web resources

Published Oct 4, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Information exposure in Bosch Rexroth IndraMotion MLC and IndraControl XLC 12 VRS and later allows remote attackers to read sensitive data. Two web-server resources omit access controls: one returns the main configuration with users and password hashes, while another returns serial and firmware details. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the hashes can be combined with the separate hash-login flaw to obtain system access.
