Authenticated camera-command execution via reflected page parameter
Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in Bosch CPP Firmware 7.6x and 7.7x allows remote attackers to execute camera commands through a victim's authenticated session. The web interface reflects attacker-controlled page parameter content into the login flow, causing the browser to execute it after authentication. A victim must open the malicious link and sign in; the injected script can issue arbitrary RCP+ commands through the CGI interface.
