Reflected XSS via unneutralized URL content
Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in the URL handler of Bosch CPP Firmware allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser through a crafted link. The web interface's URL handler returns attacker-controlled URL content without neutralizing it before page generation. Exploitation requires knowledge of the camera address and user interaction; an active administrative browser session places camera data and settings at risk.
