Improper authentication in Bosch CPP Firmware 7.70, 7.72, and before 7.80 B128 allows remote attackers to read data or change camera settings. The camera accepts crafted requests at an otherwise protected interface without authenticating the requester; Bosch has not disclosed the interface, request fields, or responsible function. Network access to a CPP6, CPP7, or CPP7.3 camera is sufficient unless certificate-based authentication blocks access before the vulnerable component.
