Application crash via EVP output-length overflow

Integer overflow in OpenSSL 1.0.2 through 1.0.2x and 1.1.1 through 1.1.1i allows attackers to crash consuming applications. In EVP_CipherUpdate, EVP_EncryptUpdate, and EVP_DecryptUpdate, block-length addition can exceed INT_MAX, yet the call returns success with a negative output length. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled input near the platform's maximum integer length; consequences are bounded to application misbehavior or a crash.
