Administrator file disclosure via unsanitized docs_file path
Published Jan 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Path traversal in flatCore CMS before 2.0.0 build 139 allows remote authenticated users to read server files through the acp interface. The help module passes the unsanitized docs_file POST value to file-content retrieval, so ../ sequences escape the intended path. Administrative access is required; successful exploitation exposes readable system files, SQLite databases, and PHP source code.
