Database disclosure to local high-privilege users
Published Jul 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Information disclosure in Oracle MySQL Server 8.0.25 and earlier allows local users to read all server-accessible database data. The flaw is in InnoDB, but Oracle has not published the affected code path or the operation that mishandles attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires a high-privilege account and local host logon, and the reported consequence is unauthorized access to critical or all MySQL-accessible data.
