Cross-site scripting in Pekebyte pekeUpload 2.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted upload filename. The upload queue's updateList function concatenates file.name into a span within an HTML string without encoding it, causing filename markup to become DOM content. Exploitation requires a user to select the attacker-supplied file, after which the browser executes the filename's script in the page context.
