CVE-2021-23632Public exploit

Command execution via unsanitized Git.git command

Published Mar 17, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

OS command injection in Christian Amor Kvalheim node-git 0.1.5 and earlier allows attackers to execute commands through Git.git. Git.git passes its command argument to call_git, which concatenates it without quoting into a shell command executed by child_process.exec. A consuming Node.js application must pass attacker-controlled text as the command argument; injected commands run with the application's process privileges.
