Data access and modification via cross-site scripting
Published Jul 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Oracle Marketing 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.10 allows remote attackers to access and alter data. The affected Marketing Administration component processes attacker-controlled HTTP content, but public sources do not identify the input field, output context, or flawed encoding operation. Exploitation requires no authentication but does require another person to interact; successful attacks disclose all accessible Marketing data and permit some updates, insertions, or deletions.
