Script execution via array sanitization bypass
Published Nov 3, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in wenzhixin Bootstrap Table before 1.19.1 allows remote attackers to execute script via array-valued table data. The escapeHTML function accepts an array where a string is expected and leaves embedded HTML unneutralized even when escape mode is enabled. Exploitation requires a host application to render attacker-controlled array data and a user to view the affected table, enabling script execution in that page's origin.
