Application logic corruption via constructor prototype pollution

Prototype pollution in putil-merge before 3.8.0 allows remote attackers to modify Object.prototype through a crafted merge source. The merge() loop skips proto but recursively processes a constructor.prototype path, copying attacker-controlled properties onto the shared prototype. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled objects to deep merge; polluted properties can corrupt application logic or crash dependent code.
