Cross-site scripting via unsanitized dataFormat output
Published Jun 24, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in AllenFang react-bootstrap-table 4.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via formatted table data. TableBody passes any non-React value returned by a column dataFormat callback directly to dangerouslySetInnerHTML without sanitization. Exploitation requires a user to render a table whose formatter returns attacker-controlled markup, which executes in the application's browser origin.
