Prototype pollution in Louis Chatriot NeDB 1.8.0 and earlier allows attackers to modify inherited application properties via crafted updates. NeDB's $set path traversal follows proto or constructor.prototype segments and assigns attacker-controlled values to Object.prototype. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass attacker-influenced update fields, and impact depends on which inherited properties the host reads.
