Command injection in kill-by-port before 0.0.2 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via attacker-controlled killByPort input. The killByPort function interpolates its port argument directly into a child_process execSync lsof command without sanitization; the patch applies parseInt before interpolation. Exploitation requires a caller to pass untrusted data to the function, and successful execution runs with the Node.js process privileges.
