Stored script execution via unsanitized resource input
Published Nov 25, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Eaton Intelligent Power Manager before 1.70 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in its web UI. IPM accepts scripts embedded in XML from fake or emulated Network UPS cards and JavaScript in text fields without sufficient validation. Reachability is limited to the local subnet and an administrator context; the bounded consequences are data alteration or service interruption.
