Authenticated code execution via malicious NodeJS upload

Unrestricted file upload in Eaton Intelligent Power Manager before 1.69 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The maps_srv.js uploadBackgroud action accepts a malicious NodeJS file and places executable attacker-controlled code on the server. Valid IPM credentials and network access to the service are required; successful exploitation grants command execution with the service's privileges.
