Admin-level stored XSS via unneutralized download fields
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in WPChill Download Monitor 4.4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through download fields. The download editor stores the post_title and downloadable_file_version[0] parameters without neutralizing script content before later page rendering. Administrator privileges and interaction by a later viewer are required, and successful exploitation changes content in that viewer's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
