Server file read and write via inherited lobject
Published Apr 25, 2023 · Updated Feb 3, 2025
Sandbox escape in Odoo Community and Enterprise 15.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated administrators to read and write server files. The PsycoConnection wrapper inherits psycopg2's lobject method, exposing PostgreSQL large-object operations instead of blocking them. Database administrator access is required; untrusted tenant administrators can reach protected configuration secrets on shared hosts.
