Unauthorized REST actions via Basic-auth CSRF
Published Jul 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSRF in JFrog Artifactory before 6.23.38 and before 7.33.6 allows remote attackers to submit requests to specific REST endpoints. JFrog has not identified the affected REST endpoints or published how their cross-site request validation fails. Exploitation requires user interaction after a user enters credentials during WWW-Authenticate negotiation or places Basic credentials in an Artifactory REST URL; resulting actions remain undisclosed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
