Authenticated macro overrides via improper authorization
Published Jun 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper authorization in Gallagher Security Command Centre Server allows remote authenticated users to override macros beyond their privileges. The server accepts macro-override operations from an unprivileged Command Centre Operator, but Gallagher has not disclosed the faulty authorization check. Access requires an operator account, and sites that do not use macros are not impacted; successful abuse changes macro behavior beyond the assigned role.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
