Secret disclosure via unredacted update errors

Sensitive-information exposure in Argo CD 1.7 before 1.7.14 and 1.8 before 1.8.7 allows local users to read Kubernetes Secret data. The application-resource update path returned an invalid Secret manifest body in a UI error, bypassing redaction, and logged the same plaintext JSON. Exploitation requires Application update permission, an edited Secret manifest, and invalid input such as a non-base64 value; disclosed data reaches the UI, server logs, and connected log-management systems.
