Remote service interruption via WebSocket JSON processing

Denial of service in F5 BIG-IP ASM/Advanced WAF allows remote attackers to force the bd process to core through WebSocket JSON requests. F5 has not disclosed the faulty JSON-processing operation; the default JSON Content Profile passes the payload to bd before the core file occurs. Affected versions are 16.0.x before 16.0.1.1, 15.1.x before 15.1.2, 14.1.x before 14.1.3.1, 13.1.x before 13.1.3.5, and 12.1.x before 12.1.5.3; exposure requires that default profile in an ASM Security Policy, and the documented consequence is service interruption without confidentiality or integrity loss.
