Cross-origin resource sharing in Ubiquiti UniFi Protect 1.19.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over a privileged account. Ubiquiti has not disclosed which Protect endpoint returns permissive CORS headers or how the malicious origin gains the account context. Exploitation requires a privileged user to visit an attacker-controlled URL, after which the attacker gains control of that user's Protect account.
