Authenticated SAML session hijacking via session fixation
Published Aug 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Session fixation in Citrix ADC and Citrix Gateway 13.0 before 13.0-82.45 allows remote authenticated users to hijack SAML sessions. Citrix has not published the specific SAML service-provider session-handling operation that permits an authorized user to fix another user's session identifier. Exposure requires SAML service-provider configuration; successful exploitation assumes the victim's authenticated identity and can read or alter data available to that session.
