Reflected XSS via unescaped status attribute
Published Mar 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Revive Adserver 5.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted status parameter. The campaign-zone-zones.html template inserts status into multiple HTML identifiers and comments without Smarty escaping. A user with interface access must follow the crafted URL; injected script cannot read the session cookie, limiting the reported impact.
