Denial of service in Ubiquiti UniFi Protect before 1.17.1 allows remote attackers to crash the controller with a spoofed camera. Public advisories identify the trigger only as a spoofed camera; they do not disclose the camera protocol, malformed field, or failing code path. The attack requires network reachability to a Protect host but no authentication or user interaction, and its documented consequence is a controller crash.
