Reflected XSS via partially escaped pagination parameter
Published Jan 28, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Revive Adserver before 5.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted stats.php URL. The statistics parameter loader preserves setPerPage as a string and prints it into an HTML attribute without neutralizing every quote, permitting attribute injection. Exploitation requires a user with interface access to open the link and press a complex key combination; injected code cannot read the session cookie.
