Script execution via unescaped period_preset parameter
Published Jan 28, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Revive Adserver 5.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted period_preset value. AuditDaySpanField.php embeds the value in a JavaScript string assigned to the preset form field without escaping quotes or backslashes. Exploitation requires a user with interface access to open the crafted URL, after which the injected script executes in that user's browser context.
