Credential disclosure via unauthenticated personnel query
Published Mar 17, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Improper authentication in Excellent Infotek Corporation E-document System 2.9 and 3.0.2 allows remote attackers to obtain account credentials. The query_person_by_order.aspx personnel-sorting endpoint returns account and password data from a supplied DEPT_ID parameter without verifying an authenticated session. No login or user interaction is required, and the exposed credentials permit victim-account access, password changes, privilege acquisition, and arbitrary command execution.
