User impersonation via unneutralized web parameters
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Schneider Electric EVlink charging stations before R8 V3.4.0.2 allows remote attackers to impersonate managing users. The charging station web server accepts crafted malicious parameters and renders them without the neutralization required to prevent script execution. Exploitation requires interaction by a managing user, after which the script can perform actions with that user's session authority.
