Local disclosure of all accessible data
Published Apr 22, 2021 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Information disclosure in Oracle VM VirtualBox Core before 6.1.20 allows local users to read critical or all VirtualBox-accessible data. Oracle has not published the flawed Core operation or the input that triggers the unauthorized read. Exploitation requires logon to the host infrastructure where VirtualBox runs, needs no further privileges or user interaction, and has no reported ability to modify data or interrupt service.
