Script execution via crafted management-interface URL
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Schneider Electric NMC2 and NMC3 firmware allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted NMC URL. Schneider Electric has not published the affected web-interface parameter or the specific output operation that fails to neutralize URL-supplied input. Exploitation requires a privileged account to click the malicious URL, after which attacker-supplied script runs in that account's browser context.
