Privileged-session script execution via intercepted request
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Schneider Electric NMC2 and NMC3 firmware allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute script in a privileged session. Interception of a privileged account's request to a vulnerable management page causes script execution, but the affected endpoint and exact input-handling error are undisclosed. Exploitation requires the privileged user to access that page while the request is intercepted; the script then runs in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
