Arbitrary file disclosure via unvalidated network paths
Published Feb 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Path traversal in Schneider Electric IGSS Data Collector 15.0.0.21243 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files. The dc.exe process accepts constructed network messages and uses attacker-supplied path data without keeping the resolved pathname inside its restricted directory. No authentication is required, and disclosed files are limited to those readable by the account running IGSS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
