Unauthenticated code execution via arbitrary file writes
Published Feb 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Distributed Data Systems IGSS Data Collector 15.0.0.21243 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. Constructed network messages make dc.exe write attacker-controlled files into Data Collector folders without restricting dangerous file types. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful placement through an exposed path enables code execution in the DC module's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
