Remote-access enablement via unauthenticated C-Gate service

Missing authentication in Schneider Electric C-Bus Toolkit 1.15.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to enable remote access via a webpage. The C-Gate 2 Service listens on TCP port 20023 and permits a crafted webpage to enable remote access without authenticating the request. Exploitation requires the target to visit the malicious page or open a malicious file; the resulting access can be chained with other flaws to execute code as SYSTEM.
