Unsalted password hashing in Schneider Electric EVlink charging stations before R8 V3.4.0.1 allows remote attackers to recover user credentials. Station account passwords use a one-way hash without a salt, allowing dictionary guesses to be compared against reusable hashes. The network-reachable attacker needs no authentication or user interaction; impact is credential disclosure that can enable subsequent station access.
