User impersonation via forged POST requests
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Schneider Electric EVlink charging stations before R8 V3.4.0.2 allows attackers to act as a logged-in user. The charging-station web server processes crafted parameters in POST requests as the user's commands instead of rejecting the cross-site request. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled content during an authenticated web session, enabling actions available to that user.
