CVE-2021-22707Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator access via hard-coded session cookies

Published Jul 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Authentication bypass in Schneider Electric EVlink charging stations before R8 V3.4.0.1 allows remote attackers to gain administrator access. The administration web interface accepts fixed CURLTOKEN and SESSIONID cookie values intended for the local evse service as proof of an authenticated session. Network access to that interface is sufficient to issue unauthorized administrative commands, including changing charging-station configuration.
