CVE-2021-22674Network attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via relative path traversal

Published Aug 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Relative path traversal in Advantech WebAccess/SCADA before 8.4.5 and before 9.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to read unauthorized files. Public advisories do not identify the affected endpoint or explain how it fails to neutralize relative path segments in attacker-controlled input. A low-privileged authenticated network session is required, and the reported consequence is limited to unauthorized file and directory access.
