Out-of-bounds read in Cscape before 9.90 SP3.5 allows local users to execute code when a crafted project file is opened. The project-file parser fails to validate user-controlled file data before reading it, permitting access beyond a memory buffer. Exploitation requires an affected user to open the malicious project file and executes code with that user's process privileges.
