Insufficient credential protection in Ovarro TBox firmware 1.45 and earlier allows remote attackers to recover login passwords. The proprietary Modbus channel carries protected login credentials that captured communications expose to brute-force recovery. Network access sufficient to capture RTU-to-engineering-software communications is required, and the bounded impact is disclosure of the login password.
