Insecure temporary file handling in Google Data Transfer Project before 0.3.57 allows local users to read sensitive data via shared Unix temporary directories. File.createTempFile creates temporary files in the system directory with world-readable permissions, exposing any sensitive contents to other local users. The attack requires local access to the Unix-like host; the reported impact is confidentiality loss without integrity or availability effects.
