Cross-site scripting in OpenText NetIQ Access Manager 4.5 and 5.0 allows remote attackers to inject script through crafted input. The flaw is in Identity Server input handling, which accepts invalid characters and triggers XSS; OpenText has not identified the parameter or published the precise output-handling failure. Exploitation requires user interaction and runs attacker-controlled script in that user's browser, enabling limited access to or modification of browser-accessible data without interrupting the service.
